Our ability to fabricate and control the unique features required in high frequency design has kept MCT among the top suppliers of choice for customers working above 900 MHz. Our typical fabrication range covers applications all the way to 40 GHz! MCT routinely demonstrates the ability to go beyond producing just circuit boards; to producing “critical function for high performance systems.”

Driven by the demanding requirements of our customers, MCT has developed a highly specialized knowledge base used to fabricate circuit boards on a variety of “soft” dielectric materials made with PTFE (polytetraflouroethylene). Our experience is that PTFE substrates require a comprehensive manufacturing model that is capable of overcoming the technical challenges associated with such dimensionally unstable materials.

Our result is success in achieving the critical mechanical requirements that deliver superior electrical performance at high frequency!

Because the process and equipment requirements for fabricating with PTFE are so specialized, we choose to focus the majority of our time and talent on such circuit boards. We only consider applications for rigid boards such as FR4 and other thermoset high frequency materials when they are in combination with PTFE or there are critical performance features that require the circuit fabricator to “fuss” over the build.

In fact, many of our customers are referred to us because they are unable to find a mainstream board supplier who can appropriately care for their designs during fabrication. At MCT, we routinely provide that “special handling” necessary to achieve the high quality and performance that our customers demand.

Historically, we have always been willing to explore leading edge design and manufacturing possibilities with our customers. As a result, our technical capability has become highly advanced and our new program methodologies more refined over time.

MCT’s capability supports unique “one of a kind” laboratory test vehicles and “first of their kind” advanced prototypes for our customer’s newest products. MCT further assists customers by providing Design for Manufacturability support so that when it’s time to ramp production, the introduction is smooth and cost effective.

We are currently responsible for manufacturing “mission critical, sole source” hardware for several large OEM customers and provide them with advanced function and performance. In doing so, we enable these customers to excel beyond and out compete their competitor’s rival product offerings.
